Position Overview

The Commercial Offer Modeling Engineer position is situated within the Services and Repairs division, specifically in the Economic Sales Support department.

This team focuses on financial analysis to formulate competitive commercial offers for airlines and lessors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the Business Team to structure contracts that meet the group’s financial objectives while satisfying airline needs.
  • Utilize statistical models to calculate workshop disassembly plans, incorporating customer flight conditions.
  • Determine prices and assess the profitability of offers, covering engines, services, and warranties.
  • Identify and propose strategies to address specific risks and opportunities for each contract.
  • Ensure coherence between profitability analysis and risk management through contract reviews.
  • Support the Business Team in co-constructing commercial arguments.
  • Analyze and optimize Business Plans for ongoing contract renegotiations.
  • Maintain a relationship with commercial partner GE, aligning calculation and analysis methods with global offices.

Requirements

  • Education: Engineering degree or business school, Master’s degree with interests in both technical and economic aspects of products.
  • Proactive and adaptable to the evolving needs of the role.
  • Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
  • Rigorous approach to tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively across various internal and external interfaces.
